Rules When Playing the New York Towers

Perception is Everything
When the New York Towers compete against other little people basketball teams, the rules, court size, and hoop height are the same as any other basketball game. There are no accomodations made.
With that being said, when the Towers compete against average height basketball teams, there are a few rule changes to level the playing field so to speak that allow for a more competitive game.
1) Rebound Rule: Your team must let the ball bounce once after a shot is taken before taking possession. We can, however take the ball prior to the bounce.
2) Bounce Pass Rule: your team must make a bounce pass when passing the ball to other players so we can have a chance of stealing the pass.
If you forget our rules it would a turn over for your team.

Introductions…
Some people go through life asking why…we go through life saying why not? Under the guidance of Clinton Brown III, the New York Towers educate, inspire, and motivate the youth of America by displaying their talent on the basketball court and telling their life lessons off the court. The team also competes worldwide in the Dwarf Athletic Association of America and will be entering the next World Dwarf Games, representing the greatest city in the world. One of the team motto’s is “Losers make excuses, Winners find solutions” – With these words at their back, they’ve lived life focusing on what they will accomplish, not what they’ve been told they couldn’t.
